From proposals to participation
momentum.cardano.iog.ioTo support Input Output’s contribution to Cardano’s next phase, I was tasked with designing a website that could explain a complex set of treasury proposals and give the community a clear route into the governance process. The challenge was to make a large amount of technical and strategic information feel accessible without losing the detail needed by developers, DReps and ecosystem participants.
Proposal architecture
The proposal structure was redesigned around a simple narrative: the problem, the initiative, the people building it, the expected outcome and the wider ecosystem impact. This gave every proposal a consistent structure while making it much easier to compare different initiatives and understand what treasury funding would actually enable.
Governance
Governance was treated as part of the product experience rather than an external destination. The site explains how treasury proposals move from submission and discussion through to DRep evaluation and voting, giving users the context they need before asking them to participate. This reduces the gap between understanding a proposal and knowing what to do next.
Design System
A flexible system of components, styles and interaction patterns created a consistent foundation for the experience, allowing the product to scale whilst maintaining a cohesive visual language.
